Westinghouse adds to its LCD TV line with a 1080p model, the 47-inch LVM-47w1, a 1920×1080 progressive-scan unit with a 6.5ms response time. There are plenty of inputs in the back, with one HDMI port, two DVI ports that support HDCP, and one VGA/D-Sub input. All of those support 1080p signals, and there are also two component inputs that support resolutions up to 1080i.
Pricing wasn’t announced on this 47-incher, but if the rest of Westinghouse’s line of LCDs is any indication, the cost of this addition to the line will undercut that of its competitors.
