Another day, another few robots, this time from Japanese auto titan Toyota. The Toyota Partner Robots, slated for official unveiling next March, will come in three flavors: Walking, Rolling, and Mountable. Yes, they really can play the trumpet, thanks to “artificial lips that move with the same finesse as human lips.” Elder care and manufacturing assistance are the robots’ two main missions, though the Mountable version has the extra bonus of being able to transport passengers.
