Well, you can say one thing about the TooDis MPal 400F flash memory video player: your hand isn’t going to get tired watching movies on it. Well, not the hand holding it, anyway. The flash player has a 12-hour playback time on a single AA battery, although it must first convert all your movie files into the MMF format that resizes them to better fit the 400F’s 1.8-inch screen. And although it’s available in sizes up to 1GB, the lack of an on-board memory slot sort of kills a lot of the potential usefulness of the device. Still, I have to say I sort of like it. I wouldn’t pay a lot of money for it, mind you, but it’s small enough to pack up and forget until you need it — not many of the bigger, hard-disk personal video players are.
