Someone sent us this pic yesterday and I called shenanigans, albeit quietly and to myself. Today I call shenanigans out loud and to you all. Update: I’ve already gotten word that it could be the logo of a Japanese band “X” [or the punk band “X” – ed.] or also an anime with the same name (the anime’s logo does look pretty similar.

I hate to be a smart-ass know-it-all, but that tat pic is by L.A. photographer Caesar Lima (http://www.caesarphoto.com/). It was a mock up for a MacDirectory photo shoot (http://www.macdirectory.com/newmd/mac/pages/macculture/iLa/iLa4.html) and the ‘X’ is for Mac OS X, natch. The tattoo artist is some inker from Venice Beach and the model is Lima’s assistant. Although Lima tried pretty hard to persuade her to get a real tat, she agreed only to henna.
