Just because US Robotics introduced a couple of Skype phones a few weeks
ago doesn't mean they can't introduce another one, this time, the cordless USR9630. Its base station (can't use the word "dock" lest you think we're talking about the ubiquitous iPod) plugs into a standard phone line as well as into a PC running Skype, making it a dual purpose phone for the ages. Four handsets can be connected to any one base station at a time so it actually could be a decent phone for families or small businesses looking into trying out Skype a little more seriously. Of course, you could just use the USR9630 as a "normal" telephone, but that's a little self-defeating.
