Helio Ocean 2 Hits FCC, First Impression is Same-Old Same-Old
The FCC has just leaked this image of Helio's Ocean 2. How do we know that? Well, it's carrying an OZ2 model and OZ was the alternative moniker of the original Helio Ocean. We can't tell much else from the drawing, such as whether the Mark 2 Ocean will have the dual slider of its older brother, but we can see the body design will remain true to the original. However, having been overly impressed by the original, we're sure this baby is going to kick ass whenever it does land. [FCC via Crunch Gear]
Meizu M8 MiniOne UI Tweaked, Again
A whole week almost elapsed without there being any rework to Meizu's M8 MiniOne UI, which is so shocking, I almost fell of my chair. Thankfully, it was not to be, as some new images are making the rounds on the old tubes.
Update: Apparently, this is just a mockup by the guys at CNMO and not at all a UI refresh. Dammit.
Nokia N95 8GB Gets Official US Release, Ships With Six Months Free Navigation
We heard of Nokia N95 8GB availability on US shores a little while back, but it now looks officially official, all with proper HSDPA connectivity under its hood. The feature packed handset has impressed us no end, and Nokia know how to sweeten us up, as the N95 8GB will be shipping with six months free voice-directed navigation, which is usually a premium service. Still, the $749 price tag is a little on the heavy side, even if it is an awesome piece of gadgetry. Catch the PR release after the jump. Good news for those who rely on their cellphones for their photo- taking needs; Samsung has just unveiled the world's slimmest 8MP CMOS, which measures a diminutive, 28mm × 15.3mm × 8.5mm.
