The sleuths at Think Secret say that an Apple-branded iPod

boombox will be part of Apple's presentation tomorrow. There were not many details forthcoming, except that the idea for this boombox was first leaked late last year, and that the product
will deliver unique capabilities beyond what today's third-party docking speaker systems offer.
The super-secret media event that begins tomorrow (Tuesday, February 28) at 9 a.m. Pacific Time, has tongues wagging and speculation swirling around a variety of different products that may or may not be introduced. We'll give you more details as we get them.

Or maybe Steve will walk out on stage, blow a load, and walk off. He could call it the iWank, and all us apple fanboys will run into the apple store looking to buy a sample. I'm a huge apple fan, but honestly, the hype machine is getting tiring.
Agreed. This sounds so ultra-lame I can't even believe it. It sounds more like something gimmicky that a 3rd party company would release. Boom Boxes went out with fat laces.

I dont think the description of FUN products makes any rumors of substantial gadgets like a new ipod or a mac possible. Take a look at where the event is being held... in the john of a cider joint! Anyway, I think its just going to be some neato peripherals or something. Maybe one larger announcement of a mac mini with a core duo, but seriously nothing substantial. A lot of apple stores I have been to dont even have the new core duo laptops in for golly gosh sakes. And for that matter: sideboob!
