Samsung Files Patent App for Virtual Screen Input Device

Samsung filed a patent application for a virtual screen for mobile phones, where the design has a tiny lens projecting an image in front of the phone on which you write with electronic pen. There's a detector that determines the position of the pen and recognizes the characters you draw. That projected screen will have its own interface using a notebook paradigm, with areas for text and drawing input, along with a menu bar and scrolling capability.

So here we go again, more pen computing, this time with little mini-projector twist. Wonder how it would work in bright sunlight?

How about virtual screen from Samsung? [Unwired View] Thanks, Stanska!
