Am I seeing things or are all of those Zunes photoshopped in? Don't Belkin have any?

I'm really liking that leather case.

I never could find a nice case that I liked for my 5G ipod.

Is Belkin a Gizmodo sponsor? Did I miss something or is this free advertising pure and simple?

This "article" reads like pure marketing - no review, insights, commentary... ? You could/should have done this with one sentence and a hyperlink to Belkin's web site (or another site that sells this stuff).

Yes yes it does, it'll add more attention to your freakin new mp3 player that no one has heard of cause only us tech savvy guys have seen it. First they think, OMFG zune is SOooo cool...then they think..that black case is hot...and the yellow...hotter...hopefully theres no pink zune in the future.

That black and yellow case looks identical in style to the Nokia 7280 case...

Methinks the belkin product designers had a meeting with upper management that went something like this:

(Upper Management) "Look, guys, we sell crap for Apple, but it never looks as nice as the stuff Apple designs. Oh, it's functional, but we really have a change to lead the accessory OEM market on this whole 'Zune' thing..think you can kick it up a notch?"

(Product Designer) "Oh, um, yeah...we are actually in the process of um...finishing a new case design..yeah"

(Product Designers) "Jesus, where the fuck are we going to come up with an innovative case that sets us apart from the other companies?"
(PD2) "Hey guys, sorry I missed the meeting..look at this cool phone I bought on eBay!"

the leather folio case looks pretty good. the widescreen (i know it's still 4:3, whatever) looks great in it.

i'm still not buying a zune until at least 2G.
