So now that you've got your motion-sensing remote control by your side, why not pair it with a motion-sensing speaker. This all-in-one speaker/radio combo has no buttons or knobs, but instead relies on motion sensors that let you raise/lower volume levels and change stations with the wave of your hand. It's also got an ambient lighting system in case you're trying to kick it with a member of the fairer sex and need to set the mood. I can be pretty lazy when it comes to certain things (showering, walking the dog, shaving), but I'm hoping I never reach the point where I'm too lazy to hit the volume up/down button. But if you're so inclined, the USB-powered speaker will be out next week for around $100 dollars.

wow! you don't even have to touch it … so hygenic!
And if you're really in the mood, you don't even have to use your hands to turn up the Marvin Gaye.
What makes you think anyone who reads this has occasion to "kick it with a member of the fairer sex"?
Hey sometimes the fairer sex can be so unfair... and that is how we like it.
I can just see the music change from wild thing to funky cold medina to from whom the bell tolls to turning itself off in 2 minutes. I'd like to see the music try and keep up with me! ;)
So how the hell do you work the snooze? When you are really tired how in the hell do you gesture correctly? I have trouble even hitting the huge snooze button and the tiny off button. Sometimes I do the latter and sleep too late. My poor HR department.
Didn't Douglas Adams write about this in the Hitchhickers guide to the galaxy? Radios became so advance and small that the only way to control them was by using hand motions. Unfortunately, they were nearly impossible to control, and the user had to hold there hand in the exact same place to listen to one channel.
That's great until you walk by it and blow out the speaker.
