If Americans are really as addicted to TV watching as the latest market statistics say we are, then this gadget sell like gangbusters. The WinTV Nova-t stick is small enough to fit in your pocket, but big enough to support SDTV, HDTV, and digital radio. The unit has a 2 year warranty and comes with their proprietary WinTV software. There's even a high performance antenna that comes with it so you won't have to position your laptop at a weird angle to get a signal. Now, not only can we blog from inside the porcelain kingdom, we can watch Lost there too.

I want this baby NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
Excitingly, I'm not seeing any indication that this is coming to the US... the two sites linked both refer to British prices and TV systems...
What would you do with Digital Radio in the States? I thought that didn't exist there? The upside...at least you don't need a TV Licence!
Alas, no Mac version of their software...
No Mac Version?! Boo.
Wow sounds great! I want one also.
kewl. i need one for my laptop
According to the posted link, this particular incarnation does not support the US hi-def TV standards (ATSC for broadcast, QAM for cable), and therefore will not be coming to the USA. Hauppauge could always redesign this for the US market, but I believe that the reason that they were able to miniaturize this down to USB-key-size was that the DVB-t decoders have been easier to scale down. Bottom line: this is of no real interest to us Yanks.
