MacGyver Mouse Has Numpad, Laser Pointer, Toothpaste, Underpants, Gallon of Freon, Detonator

Want to exit a presentation with the maximum amount of casualties possible? Check out this MacGyver mouse from Korea, which is actually a mouse, but also holds a numpad on top and a laser pointer on the side. Being thin and square is pretty much one of the worst possible shapes a mouse can be, but the fact that it's a MacGyver mouse means it's got loads of hidden features inside designed to help you Jack Bauer yourself out of all but the toughest of conundrums. And if that doesn't work, just shine the laser in your guard's eye and make a run for it. [AVING]

Rumor: Pioneer Developing a Sirius Inno?

Wow, it seems like it was only yesterday that Pioneer was debuting the Inno, an XM portable player. Well over a year after the initial unveiling, a tipster has revealed to Orbitcast that Pioneer is working on a new device "similar to the Inno," but for Sirius satellite radio, instead. This isn't too surprising given that Pioneer is already dabbling into Sirius with a variety of receivers and head units. I hope Pioneer can accomplish what Sirius couldn't in the portable satellite radio player market. More »

We Review the Samsung Helix (Verdict: We Like It)

XM's been in the news quite a bit as of late, mainly because the RIAA decided to sue the number one satellite radio company in the United States for, you know, aiding in the creation of new technology, something the RIAA would like outlawed. A lot's been written about the Pioneer Inno as being one of the main culprits, due to its ability to record songs onto its hard drive directly from the XM signal, but where's the love for Samsung? Doesn't their latest XM2Go radio, the Helix, deserve to be sued too? Find out how it fares with our full review of the Samsung Helix, right after the jump. More »

XM Sued Over Copyright Infringement

The RIAA sure was quick to jump all over this one. They are suing XM Satellite Radio because the Inno portable media device is capable of downloading and storing songs, therefore infringing on copyright. The RIAA is seeking $150,000 per song downloaded. Damn! More »

Pioneer Inno XM Radio Reviewed (Verdict: One of the Good Ones)

Looks like they finally got portable XM right. The Inno looks cool and even works, unlike previous XM2Go offerings. The device records up to 50 hours of XM radio, plays MP3s and WMAs, and integrates with Napster. Priced at $399, it's pretty expensive for a portable device but not so expensive for a portable XM device. Overall, this one is a winner. More »

Live from CES: Pioneer inno Portable XM

A ha! Stuff we want. inno is the first portable XM2go radio with 1GB memory (says Pioneer). You can listen live, record live, and store and play MP3 and WMA files. It's a very nice-looking unit, but it seems there's not enough built-in storage for that $400 purchase price. When it shows up in March, you can make a decision for yourself. However, the ability to record and listen to XM while mobile is excellent.
