YouTube is sniffing around the possibility of producing its own TV shows, and its VP of content Kevin Donahue said at CES that the company is even thinking of creating a TV channel with selected clips chosen from the millions that are hosted by YouTube on line.
"We're noodling on it. We haven't gone down a specific road yet. We've had a lot of conversations with networks that want us to do shows, companies that want us to do linear YouTube channels ... We're more in strategy phase right now.""Noodling" on it? Ha. Sounds like this might be a hybrid of America's Funniest Home Videos and Jackass all rolled into one.

Ahhh, I get it. It'll be the:
YouTubeTube
Broadcasting Ourselves,
Broadcasting You(tm)
and coming up at 8, a new episode of lonelygirl_15 followed by News at 11.
But now, Chad Vader.
I hope they pick up "Nobody's Watching".
You can see the network TV pilot via YouTube.
... A sitcom about making and living inside a sitcom. Genius!
Nobody watched that channel the first time around, when it was called Current.TV.
Redundancy check: Youtube.com will make a tv channel.
TV channels will start making programs (such as the already mentioned lonelygirl_15) to show them on Youtube.com.
Cut the middle man and you get the next Fox Channel... MySpaceTV!!!
