Renova is releasing an all black toilet paper. I have pretty much spent the entire day pondering this concept, dreaming and wondering what kind of advantage using black would have on me and my posterior end. Well after finally reading the Renova press release I have unfortunately come to find out that this toilet paper doesn t have a point.
Elegant, sophisticated, rebellious, alternative and eternally fashionable, black has become virtually synonymous with chic and style. But while this colour is often present in avant-garde creative work, no one has ever dared to use it for toilet paper until now. Black in the loo, how chic and sophisticated can you get?
Hey Renova, when I want to be chic and elegant while in the loo, I will probably wear a dress, not use black TP.

But if they made TP that changed color based on the "makeup" of your BM (biologic matter)...wouldn't that be cool AND frightening. Maybe it could be some kind of colon cancer test strip! That aside, given my "pinchant" (deliberate sp.) for -ethnic origin redacted- cuisine produced in questionable surroundings, I am thinking "cammo" would have been a more amusing color choice...
does nobody else see a fundamental flaw? How on earth can you tell when your arse is clean? I mean c'mon, thats why toilet paper is white, so we can see how much damage we've inflicted!

This is for those bathrooms that are for decoration. For example, at my home, the four bathrooms on the west wing that people just walk through to see the designer marble / granite architecture. You weren't actually thinking someone would wipe their butt with this, were you?

Frankly, I could give a sh!!(literally) about what color my TP is. Just seems so darn strange to me.
I dunno..all my life I used white toilet paper. I feel the need to diversify my wiping experience.

That's pretty cool; especially for people who are sick of boring white toilet paper. It's not extremely INNOVATIVE, but it's pretty cool.
I love it, not only because it's cool and looks great in my bathroom, but because it's biodegradeable, toxin-free and pleasently fragranced, so I no longer have to use aerosole sprays in my bathrooms. That's an environmental advantage....protecting further depletion of our ozone layer....
