I'm giving this the old "Umm... OK. OMG? What?" but decide for yourself if this odd bit of Band-Aid advice doesn't render you speechless.

Woah thats actually pretty cool, I might try that when I need a band aid next. Although I hardly ever use them.
This is friggin ingenius.
Okay, this makes perfect sense. I'm sure I'll try this sometime soon but I just don't understand why this thing was produced? Are they selling something? Is it a PSA? Whats the deal with that little talking TV on the bottom left? Everybody knows that the only REAL powerful corporate logo is Mr. Sparkle!
wtf was that?
Ok...yeah, that's clever and all but why was that 9 year old boy in the tub with some naked 20-something woman giving herself a sponge bath in front of him?...is she a teacher or something?...ooops, sorry; teachers diddilling school kids is only here in the states.
this is as amazing as the tshirt folding video. except maybe more useful as it will save mankind. the only thing i wonder about is they show wet bandaids falling off at the beginning, and this technique really does nothing to make them waterproof.
Whoever patents that design will be a bazzionaire.
Makes sense...
Am I really the only person who figured this out independently? (Okay - the fingertip bit. For some reason it never occurred to me to do it over the knuckle, and the knuckle thing is hella useful.)
This is very useful, but hardly new. I mean, has nobody ever seen a knuckle band-aid?
I wouldn't be too surprised to see Curad or J&J doing that sometime soon.
Holy cow, this is so not new. Finger-specific bandaids have been around for quite a while. No one has ever seen the H-shaped bandaids for your knuckles? Check out this link, third picture on the page. http://www.bandaid.com/specialty_prod.shtml
"Mr. Sparkle very disrespectful to dirt!"
Thank Jeebus the Japanese use their powers for good, otherwise we'd all be doomed.
Theres a whole series of How-To's from the same japanese show called "Urawaza" I presume. http://youtube.com/results?search=urawaza Filled with goodies such as "How to cook juicy and tender hamburger" and "How to take a picture with ghost."
Band-aids are for sissies. Duct tape would never fall off.
Why is America so far behind in the wacky-tv-sound-effects department?
That's a great idea. I'll definitely give that a try some time.
It's from a show called "Itouke no Shokutaku." The whole show is about stuff like this. How to use everyday items to do everyday chores, etc. better. The show is pretty cool. Not too sure why this is on Gizmodo, though...
Meh... its just another thing we can make fun of....
