This is the latest "revolutionary" charger called the SynCh. SynCh is a small, lightweight charger that can charge mobile phones, mp3 players, BlackBerrys, Bluetooth headsets, portable gaming devices and PDAs. One of the better features about this charger is that it already includes all of the adapters you will need—as long as your devices are supported.
Travelodge (the hotel chain) is launching this product. It will be available for free rental or purchase at 10 piloted hotels. Apparently, over one-third of travelers regularly forget their chargers, so good job Travelodge for being prepared. The SynCh will retail for $38 or so.

In principle this is great, but out of 6 of my 'travel' gadgets only 3 were on their list.... expand on connectors and I would be more interested
actually, until they include a Nintendo DS adapter, this thing is worthless
"free rental" ?
The SynCh was actually launched last December, and it's little brother, the mini-SynCh, is being launched later this month. Not only is this a charger, it's also a sync device (hence the name SynCh) that simultaneously synchronizes data between handheld and host applications.
All i have to say is iGo. iGo can charge ANYTHING. even laptops.
free rental? huh? isn't that like being "a little bit pregnant"?
iGo can charge anything - so long as you have the RIGHT iGo. I bought into their marketing and picked up an iGo foor charging my RAZR and future cell phones - but I can't charge my notebook using my under-powered iGo unit...
I corrected the word "foor" twice before submitting...
iGo doesn't SynCh - setting the two apart somewhat.
I need one that charges/synchs more than two devices!!
Please visit our main site at http://www.syncharger.com, where you can see our newest model, the miniSynCh. Ultra compact and ultra portable, it's also ultra cheap--regularly priced at $14.95, you can buy the miniSynCh during our Launch special for just $10.95 between now and November 10. You can also see our full range of mTips, covering cellphones, iPods, BlackBerrys, Treos, Bluetooth headsets, cameras, GPS units and more, over 40 in all, more than anyone else.
Regarding iGo--iGo can't charge your phone from your laptop, it isn't a usb data solution, and it can't charge 2 devices at once. The SynCh can do all of the above. Plus we use USB standard tips, so you can just buy our tips and connect them to someone else's cable, or even into your PC directly. iGo uses their own system, which means their tips are useless without the iGo charger, and their tips are more expensive than ours.
The SynCh is the smallest, smartest, most convenient way to charge/sync/connect all your mobile gadgets.
