Remember that semi-cool Pong Clock? Sure you do, we only posted about it on a daily basis over the summer. Well, John Maushammer has taken this idea to a smaller level and has designed and created a beautifully crafted Pong wristwatch. It has a 1.2-inch OLED display that will display the time with a friendly game of Pong. It is still in the prototype phases—Maushammer is still working out the kinks with power management, but hopefully it will be available for sale, someday. Until then, hit the jump to see a video of the Pong watch in action.
Homemade PONG watch! [MAKE]

Pong clock = sliced bread. Pong watch = best thing since.
If only it had a small slider on the right you could use to actually play pong. Totally boss.
The picture shows just the tiny display -- the processor, while small, isn't shown. I think I can fit the battery and the processor behind the screen pretty well... it's just a matter of thickness.
Still a very rough prototype - I wouldn't call it a watch yet until it has a case.
I'd love to make it playable, but I'm starting simple first... a slider or buttons would mean a more complicated case to machine. A slider would rock, though!
... Can you plan actual game of Pong with it ? (Someone's had to ask!)
No, somebody already asked, got an answer and then a detailed response.
Baby steps, I'm really impressed and bet this will get popular if it gets portable.
