Take pleasure in freaking out kids and adults alike with this weirdo egg cuber. Not exactly cutting edge, this egg cuber takes in a still-warm egg and squashes it into a cubic shape, all without leaking out the yellowy inside.
Simple, cheap, and fun, which makes it a neat stocking-stuffer for the kids.

I did an entire project on this product for one of my undergraduate advertising classes. Thanks for reminding me.
this is an older product, but fun idea either way.
Cube tomatoes anyone? old. But I would like to eat a cube egg, looks really good.
Square eggs as stocking stuffers? You cheap ba$^*rd.
(or do you mean the plastic thingy? you cheap ... )
And the Nobel passed this up? tsk tsk
Could make neater deviled eggs - very popular this time of year.
I sort of wished it cooked the egg that way, rather than shapping a warmed one. But, this is good enough.
What else can we cube?
I'm a vegan, you insensitive clod.....
My sister found an old egg cuber in my grandparents house years ago (it was probably from the 70's or 80's) and learned that while it did make deviled eggs stand up better on their own, the cube shape didn't last forever and they eventually go more or less round again. Still, to this day I marvel at the concept of an egg cuber.
I knew the Japanese were making square produce 20 years ago (because it packs better for shipping) by growing each veggie in its own little box. As I read this headline, I really felt sorry for the chicken laying little square eggs from a surgically implanted box.
I've always hated the way those eggs slide off the plate.
Seems fairly inefficient. Why not just force the chickens to lay square eggs to begin with? Cut out the middleman.
