Just got an On-Off alarm clock in from GreenerGrassDesign. It was supposed to be for a bit on Canadian TV, but the punks pulled the slot at the last minute and left me hanging. Anyway, Canada sucks.
That said, the On-Off clock doesn't suck. It's actually quite smaller than it looks in the images but it's very readable and very elegant. You set the time, set the alarm, and then flip it back and form forth to turn it on and off. Alarm goes off, you tilt it back, and rock and roll. Not quite portable, but it would make a nice conversation piece next to your lonely, lonely bed. About $36.50.

at least in Canada we know that the phrase is 'back and forth' not 'back and form'
Also, just because TV execs in Canada are as unprincipled as TV execs in the States (surprise) is no reason to paint all canadians with the same brush. We're really all nice friendly people. Tom Green notwithstanding.
Why are you putting a conversation piece next to your bed? If you've got someone that far, talking about your bedside alarm will do nothing but hurt you.
Wow, this is pretty cool - if it had a time illuminator for the ceiling, I would buy it on the spot. Canada dosnt suck because they put our (US) hookers to shame.

yeah just what i need an alarm thats easier to turn off. What i really need is an alarm that requires me to decode three encrypted messages and input them to a key pad before it will turn off.
I think Gizmodo should have a "special" website for all of the maple-loving canadian freaks so they can stay off of our american forums.
This would /not/ be a good product for those with cats who like to jump up on things. On the other hand, at least your boss would have a new lateness excuse to add to his collection. .....and I think that Cody should take his meds..... ;-P
