We've already seen what happens when you pack a jet onto the back of a pickup, well now someone's strapped some motors onto a kayak. It's nowhere near as powerful as the pickup, but still manages to make your kayak fast enough to race against rally cars. In Iceland. While dodging icebergs.
Click ahead for a video of our favorite kayak in action (fwd to 4.16 if you wanna head straight to the kayak).

Top Gear is one of the greatest shows EVER, but for a second there I thought that I had accidentally clicked on jalopnik.com
thay really should bring top gear back to a us channel i get...
that kayak doesnt exactly sound jet-powered, but it is cool, as is that land rover... get better hamster!
Yay Richard Hammond!
Does it make me a bad person if I want to see the guy in the kayak crash into an iceberg?
yes, but it's okay if you want to see an iceberg crash into the kayak.
No opinion on the car and kayak crashing into each other.

I've been there, that's Jokulsarlon, its in the south of Iceland and its terrific, even without the super jeep or the kayak.
Those ice floats a freakin' sharp a friend of mine once tore his hands up jump onto one from the shore. I can guarantee hitting one of those in a kayak going 40mph is going to ruin your day.
awesome video
The man driving the car in that clip, Richard Hammond, was quite severely injured recently, driving a jet powered car... The clip is from the show Top Gear, in the UK, and many people were pretty upset over his accident. He survived, but there were many fears that he'd have serious brain damage. It looks like he'll fully recover though...

If they bring Top Gear over they need to bring it over in its entirety and not try to adapt it like they have in the past.
The jet kayak was made by a student at the university I study at (Brunel University, UK). It looks like a complete beast, and I hope whoever pilots it has life insurance.
