Some of the more accomplished gamers here at the Giz have elevated smack talk to an art form, but those big talkers aren't always the ones who win. Yes, sometimes it takes too much effort to taunt your opponent, so now you can solve that problem by recording those choice words into the SmackTalk for the Xbox 360, a digital audio recorder that'll play back those intimidating admonitions with a lightning-fast button push.
SmackTalk hooks up between the Xbox 360's controller and headset, and lets you record your own ribald remarks or use its five prerecorded taunts. Plunk down your $30 and give your opponents even more reasons to want to frag you to hell.

Because looking away from your game to press a button is much easier than just saying one of the five stupid things you say over and over again anyway.
bigtimes - The trouble is some of them sadly, can't do impressions.
All I can imagine is the voice of homestar runner in end of game lobby...
"Nice game ladies, next time maybe your husbands can play"
I worry about the kind of person that is so lazy and angry they need a push-button device to call people faggots on Xbox Live.
Because you know, KNOW, that 4 of those 5 buttons are going to be for increasingly angry "faggot" taunts. The fifth is reserved for the user's racial slur of choice.
It's easy to make profane idiot children leave. Just play a game where the only chat is via text, and criticize them on their grammar. Angry 15 year-olds can dish it out, but they can't take it. As for this voice chat thing, it's just one more reason I have no interest in XBox Live.
A quote for Homer comes to mind for me, in the episode where he designs the car made for the common homer:
"The car needs at least 8 horns, cuz you can never find one when you're angry"
Uhg.... because the 13 year olds on Live arn't repetitive enough already.
Look, people are going to Smack Talk anyway. Atleast with this thing we can get a little variety with the movie quotes and sound effects users can load on it.
