Samsung Miniket

I haven't heard much about this Miniket multi-function thing that's on the front page of Samsung's site—in fact, it's sort of disturbing that we haven't heard more since it was announced in other markets in October. It's pretty easy to grok, though: it's a tiny flash-based MPEG4 camcorder that can also take still images and play back MP3s, as well as be used for data storage. Having it on the front page of their global site sort of implies we'll see it here in the US, but since there isn't a product page it's hard to tell. If this thing could make GSM phone calls and had a 0.85-inch hard drive, we'd be looking at the future of gadgetry. (Thanks, Thinh!)
