A T-Mobile mole dropped this future T-Mobile brochure on our doorstep this morning—we'd have preferred a basket of muffins, but whatever. The image details the two upcoming phones, the Windows Mobile 5-based T-Mobile Dash and the Motorola RAZR V3t.
The Dash is the HTC Excalibur, which has WiFi, EDGE, and is myFaves enabled, and the RAZR V3t is the V3i branded for T-Mobile. It also has myFaves, as does all upcoming phones from T-Mobile. The T-Mobile Dash seems to be a contender as the next Motorola Q-killer.
Thanks T-Mole!
Update: Image fixed.

I work for t-mo and am using the dash right now. it is MyFaves enabled and I would be willing to write up a blurb about it in exchange for a commenters account....:)
Whoo! A Q-Killer! blah.
And why another Razor? Does that make like what 50 different versions?
Come on T-Mobile USA, gimme some good toys, at least a Hermes.
It's not *another* Razor...It's the same phone Cingular has been trying to push for a couple of months.
thats my problem... you hear verizon constantly advertising the 'ultimate media' RAZR (just call it a V3m!) while i didnt even know cingular had finally picked up the V3i until i browsed their site last week... then again ive yet to see an ad for the Motorols K1m KRZR from verizon... gah! verizon ad on tv right now...
id be happy that t-mo finally have the i except i plan on buying a new phone when the 3g net launches, so this is kinda late...
The image link seems to be dead. Anyone get it before that happened?
I still fail to see whats so special about the RAZR... Whoo! Thin! Whoo! >> blah...
Cause when you forget to shave before work you can use your cell phone to shave. Duh.
I'm wary of HTC products after my T-Mobile SDA "joystick" turned into a "miserystick" after only a couple of months.
This appears to be an improvement in design, but for me the 200MHz TI OMAP processor is a deal-breaker. I'm surprised they aren't using the new Samsung 300MHz processor, as seen in the HTC MTeoR and TyTN. These phones need it!
This one still won't have enough oomph to run Skype (per Skype), so it's not worth upgrading to. It will still be a sluggish performer, I'd expect.
Ok I am not on top of my tech, so I could use some serious help here. I'm getting a promotion and need to upgrade my phone to one that will work as a PDA and a Phone, with powerpoint options, and can hold healthy hunks of data. I work in the medical field and will have quite a bit of programs to run on it. I want to get what is the best out there with the best service plan because I dont' want to find that I have bought a phone and it doesn't do all that I need or anxiously wait for 2 years until a contract expires. I'm grateful for any input you might have to share.
Ok everyone, I'm a newbie here. I need help with choosing a new cell phone. my job is changing and I need to be able to use it as a true PDA, or pocket PC, with windows media, or equivilent, and be a darn good phone that will be reliable and I can count on it not droping calls in the middle of a meeting. It will need to manage a healthy amount of data and programs, such as medical software and powerpoint, email, and text messaging. I will appreciate any input you might have before I invest this kind of money into something.
