The Haier Black Pearl is honestly the smallest phone we've ever seen. It's hard to get a sense of how small it is from the picture, but you can see that it's about the length and width of two of my fingers, and around the thickness of one of my fingers on end. And I don't have large hands.
To recap: the BP is an unlocked GSM phone with MP3 playback, FM radio and Bluetooth compatibility. It's shiny—shinier than an iPod—and very very round. Take a look at the gallery and we'll have a full review for you later this week.

Couldn't turn it on for us? I want to see how the screen looks!
Although it certainly is an attractive phone, I can see users everywhere cursing their tech-overlords when this thing accidentally gets thrown away or run through the washing machine because they forgot it was in their pants pocket. Maybe it should come pendant-style, like so many of those korean and japanese phones that we see hanging around the necks of spectators at tech shows. Well, at least you can't fault them for trying something new and interesting.......

I swear this is the smallest phone ever. Its by Panasonic.
Judging from size and shape, it seems that this product is marketed specially for inmatess. with more than 1 million just for the USA, that's a decent market … anything about the size of the charger ?
Is that a phone in your pocket or are you just... hung like a field mouse.
You'll have to wait for the review, werk. ;)
that is one sexy bitch!! I think i'm in love!
Just don't open your mouth too big while talking on it.
looks female friendly.
excellent! another tiny phone to fit into my tiny girl jeans that wont fit anything bigger than 2 fingers. and to think! a phone half the size. ahh the miracles of modern technology

KJA, the Panasonic measures 80 x 43 x 18.8 mm (64.7 cubic cm). The Haier is 89 x 31.8 x 19 mm (53.8 cubic cm).
I've seen bigger suppositories! FM radio is a nice touch.
FM tuner? SCORE!!!
Please tell me its less that $200 and I am buying one.
Yes, I am too lazy to google a price.
World's smallest cellphone:

What's that? It's just my little OB...
this phone is too tiny....you would think that they would just put a hook on the back of the phone so you wouldn't even need a blue tooth piece, you could just hook the phone onto your ear!!!
That phone would be prefect... if it had a camera. No camera = deal breaker for me.
Is it smaller than the Siemens SL55? I've been using my Siemens SL55 for four years now, since I bought it in London (it's a tri-band, I just bought a US SIM card from T-Mobile for it. Most UK cell phones work on SIM cards). Anyway the old Siemens is getting a bit battered and I need a new handset, but I can't find one small enough....
