Really? Saturday? Yes today — or at least very soon — the N95 superphone could be launching as early as tonight. The signs: Last week, Nokia started handing out European variants of the N95 Superphone to US journalists. Today, we have tips from readers claiming that that Nokia is going to be launching the model from their US flagship stores in NY and Chicago for $750.
That's good. Because I have one here, and it is the most powerful handset I've ever used. Period. I'd called it fat, but I guess that makes me a chubby chaser. It's imperfect but I really like it.
I've had mine for a few days. Typically, we'd spit out a review within 24 hours. Not the N95. I get the sense that the complicated device will require another few days before I unlock its secrets. But for now, on this Saturday, I think I can manage to make some headway without the normal weekday distractions holding me back. For now, a gallery, which I'll post in a bit.

Is this phone coming to cingular? Or do you just have to buy it unlocked? As well how do companies monitor if it has Free WI FI most companies charge for the ability to go online.
Pleeeeeeeeease, Nokia?
what network has it?
lazzzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Will it work on Cingular 3G hspda/umts?
It will not work for Cingular's 3G network. It will use their EDGE network. Don't fret, it does have wifi built in
So if we can't run to the flagship store, how do we get one? I can't find anything on the nokiausa site. And i want one!!!!
Although it doesn't go live until monday, here's a sneak-peak of our CTIA coverage, including a look at the N95...

The website(in Thai)says the phone was announced in Thailand on September,2006 and will be in store in May,2007, price is list at 850 US$ without contract.
Many shop sell their own imported model at 1150 US$ available since March.

I was always a Nokia fan for years until I was stuck with the 6101, which has to be the chintziest phone ever made. I returned it a month after I purchased it as the screen faded on the right side and T-Mobile gave me another which three months later the case cracked in cold weather, poor, poor quality material, chintzy.
I am amazed that Nokia would chance to cheapen its image and brand with that model and then stick the client with a $150.00 fee for it.
Shame on Nokia.
Thank goodness HTC made its debut about a month after I was into the 6101 and there was a solution at hand.
Too bad Nokia did not look for quality solutions instead of making cheap products to sell at an inflated price.
Nokia will have to produce a great phone for me to go back to them or HTC will have to insult their clients with a chintzy phone model.
im gonna pick one up as soon as it gets here in Hong Kong
Is this supposed to be a PMP + cellphone?
here are the specs

Given ImportGSM (who is in the US) has had them since friday, I'd wager a US launch in the next day or two is highly likely.

when the hell is Nokia gonna get it to work on US 3G?
