Ford Mondeo Constructed Completely Allergy Free, Unless of Course You're Allergic to Ford Mondeos
I have allergies. It's not horrible, but a couple times a month I'll have to take something for it. Therefore, you'd think this completely allergy free Ford Mondeo would be fantastic for me. Sadly for Ford, my allergies aren't bad enough to make me drive a Mondeo. More »

Parallels 3.0 Supports 3D Windows Gaming, SmartSelect
One of the main reasons why Mac users still use Boot Camp to run Windows Natively instead using virtualization software like Parallels is its lack of 3D gaming (OpenGL and DirectX) support. In Parallels Desktop version 3.0, now in final candidate development, you can finally use 3D gaming without rebooting. More »

Impressions With Xbox 360's Guitar Hero 3 Wireless Guitar
Erik over at IGN Gear got his hands on the upcoming Xbox 360 wireless guitar and has mostly good things to say about it. The controller is shaped like a Les Paul and looks quite similar to the old PS2 controllers. The buttons themselves have been moved around and made to look more like the PS2 version as well, increasing the start and back buttons and moving the guide and D-pad up nearer to the neck. More »

ESPN MVP Mobile Service Reviewed (Verdict: Not too Shabby)
I was ready to make my final review a real ball-buster, but fortunately for Verizon and ESPN, this isn't going to be one. ESPN Mobile launched their independent cellphone and service in the latter part of 2005 only to have it flop halfway through 2006, but now they are back with a vengeance as part of Verizon Wireless' V Cast service. I have been playing with this phone for a couple weeks and I am pretty impressed. Hit the jump to see my review and a video teaser. More »

Laser Sighted Cues Help Beginners Line up Their Balls
Similar to the laser guided pool cue, this CueSight gives you a laser sight from your cue to the ball that helps your aim. This one's actually better than the previous one because it offers a cross instead of a spot, and will actually give you another sight down the table if you line it up correctly. See annoying animated gif for an infinitely repeating demo. More »

Tattle on Fellow Movie Patrons with a Guest Response Remote
Remember the gadget we told you about last year from Regal Cinemas that lets you tattle on your fellow movie patrons? It's available now in select NY theaters. The idea is that you can use this instead of having to walk out of the theater to tell ushers that there's a man on a cellphone/baby crying/minority stereotype yelling at the screen. More »

UPEK Eikon Fingerprint Reader Hands-On (It Works With Firefox!)
It's been a while since we last found a fingerprint reader we really liked. The previous champion—the lovely Cylon-red Microsoft Fingerprint Reader—was demoted to just Windows login duty (and eventually abandoned altogether) because of its lack of Firefox support. The Eikon? It supports Firefox. That's just one of the reasons why this Upek Digital Privacy Manager USB Fingerprint Reader shines. More »

Man Stuff - The Best of Uncrate
This week at Uncrate: We explore the universe from our desk with the Starship Earth Globe, stay comfy on the eco-friendly Lockport Apartment Sofa, and capture the moment eight ways with the Lomo Oktomat Camera. We also terrify the office with the Psycho Bunny Striped Tie, document the end of the world with the Harbortronics Time-Lapse Package, and keep things in order around the fire with the Grillslinger. Finally, we protect our eyes in style with the Kaenon Polarized Basis Sunglasses, jam out to The Sun and The Moon by The Bravery, and hustle our neighbors on the Tresserra Bolero Pool Table.

Harman Kardon's 2nd Gen GPS Comes with Larger Screen, Smaller Price
Still haven't gotten a GPS unit for your car? Harman Kardon's new budget model makes for a nice starter unit, stretching its predecessor's screen from 3.5 inches to a full-blown 4 inches. It has 2GB of built-in flash, a miniSD slot for expansion and MP3/WMA playback. It'll go for $300 in June, which will put it $100 cheaper than the competition. More »

Click On This Link, Pop This Balloon
Gizmodians, get your mice ready, because here's "Blogged," a Web 2.0 experiment/art installation where the object of the game is to pop this balloon with your clicks. It's expanded a little bit by every visit to this website. For the rest of today (May 31), each time someone lands on Bill Shackelford's website at The Ohio State University, an air compressor hooked up to this balloon will run for one second. More »
